I was sceptical to staying at a guesthouse at first, but my scepticism was put to shame. As someone who spends more than 150 nights in hotels each year, I must say I absolutely loved my 5 day stay at the Foxwood House.

Dominique - the duties manager - was an excellent host and ensure that I felt very much at home at the Foxwood House.

The suite was very clean and was kept clean throughout my stay. Food was superb - especially the breakfast, which was served in a highly personal way.

I even used the laundry service of teh Foxwood House and had no complaints whatsoever.

Wifi worked flawlessly most of the time. But whatever issues arose, I could count on Dominique and his staff to tend to things immediately.

I can highly recommend staying at the Foxwood House without reservation. Kids will love staying there too, I am sure.

I have stayed at Foxwood many times and it is really a lovely place. The service is excellent, the staff very friendly and prompt. Quite a few times I have been running workshops and everything has gone very smoothly The food is great, especially the breakfast, which can be taken outside in the wonderful garden.

The service was excellent. The Hotel and facilities are absolute unique.
The Theatre on the grounds are special and intimate and the food on Chirstmas Day Excusite! Garden a Haven in the middle of Johannesburg, your stress levels totally down after a visit to Foxwood House.

How nice that one can stay in a place that feels like home. From the moment you enter Foxwood you feel as if you have arrived home. The staff is friendly and very accommodating and the rooms are stunning and large so are the bathrooms. It's an historical home, and everything is done so tastefully. The service was excellent and if you seek a quite spot where you can work or just relax Foxwood House come highly recommended. I think back of my time spent there fondly, and cannot wait to return.
