‘DORIS’ IS A SOLO PLAY OPENING THE ARTS FESTIVAL. JAN GROENEWALD TELLS HER STORY – AND WE USE HER RECIPE FOR THE MEALS AT THE FESTIVAL FRIDAY NIGHT (19:30) AND SATURDAY LUNCH (12:30) AND SATURDAY NIGHT (19:00)
Doris se spyskaart met lamskerrie of hoenderkerrie met geelrys en rosyntjies tesame met soetpatats met ’n titseltjie lemoengeur, bedien met plaasbotter en bruin suiker na smaak.
‘n Vegetariese opsie met botterbone, lensies en groente word aangebied.
Nagereg: Broodpoeding met romerige vla.

Doris’s menu with lamb or chicken curry on yellow rice with raisins, and served with sweet potatoes baked in the skin in the oven with a dash of farm butter, a touch of orange & brown sugar.
A vegetarian option has to be requested in advance: butter beans & lentils & vegetables on a bed of yellow rice with raisins and the sweet potato. Kindly request in advance.
Dessert Doris’s traditional bread pudding and creamy custard for all.
